Dude. Thanks.

Just got home from swim. My coach, who was wonderful and agreed to be my coach post stroke as well, introduced the lifeguard who pulled me out during my stroke. It was great to finally say thank you.
I’d thought of saying thank you in the past, but my speech is slurred and my voice is higher now, so I don’t sound like I’m all there and people sometimes don’t take me seriously. I wanted to be sure that he would understand that I understand what he did for me. So, thank you. =]
